New Commodore 64 Computer System and Peripherals
Discovery

The Commodore 64 was a revolutionary computer system when it was launched in the 1980s and it featured a whopping 64kb of memory.  Of course today many watches have more computing power than this but at the time there was nothing like.  The basic system consisted of the main computer, a 1541 Disk Drive which was separate, and a monitor.  Additional accessories such as printers and joysticks were also available.  The Commodore was capable of running various data processing and tech type programs but the one at my house was primarily used for gaming.  Although the programs and graphics were rudimentary by today's standards actually playing the games at the time was one of the coolest things in the world and its amazing how much the game designers were able to accomplish in terms of the complexity of the graphics and sounds given the limitations of the technology.
