Over the years Mego Corporation (later known as Mego International) not only had a presence in office buildings, warehouses, and distribution centers around New York City but they also had international offices, factories and plants around the world. Unfortunately, despite their huge presence during the days of their success precious little remains in the way of artifacts that speak to the history of the company. Below are a few samples of some of the various corporate and promotional items that I've come across over the years.
Planet of the Apes Mego Giveaway Promotional Photo
These promotional photos were given away by Mego Employees that would come to local toy stores dressed as the Apes characters
Mego International Inc. Corporate Stock Certificate
While anxious customers were buying up Super Hero, Planet of the Apes, Dukes of Hazzard, and numerous other action figures and playsets in stores, anxious investors were buying up shares of Mego International, Inc. subordinated sinking fund debenture that promised almost 13% interest. Sadly high interest rates were one of the things that would eventually lead to our beloved Mego's downfall.
Mego Stationary
Nothing says "I've made it" like custom stationary. When you are a big successful company you need lots of different kinds. Window Envelops for pay checks, invoices, etc. Unfortunately we don't have the contents for these envelopes so we don't know what they contained but they still represent another point in time when Mego was a powerhouse toy company producing the best action figures in the world.

Mego Corporation Business Cards
Considering that Mego had literally thousands of employees over the years its amazing that more business cards haven't survived or been discovered by collectors. I have in my experienced come across a grand total of three and I know some other collectors that each have one or two. My estimation is that there are likely 25 or less known examples that exist.
An authentic business card from a former Mego executive during the period when they were still known as Mego Corp and occupying the 41 Madison office (the name has been changed to protect their privacy)
