Originally manufactured and distributed by Mego's UK Interest named Lion Rock Ltd, after the fall of Mego the dies were picked up and used by a few different companies, namely Chitech and Globo toys out of the UK. Personally, I had the Chitech US versions and I loved them. I was bright enough to recognize they were just like Megos but not bright enough to realize it was the same company. Regardless, here are some variations below.
War Heroes: Fighting SeeBee
I had these growing up and never realized these were made from Mego Lion Rock molds and were basically Megos. If I'm not mistaken even the later ones sold by Chitech still had the "Lion Rock" stamp on the backs. Anyway, this is my Fighting SeeBee mint on an unpunched card.
War Heroes: U Boat Captain
German U Boat Captain mint on the card. See below for the same figure distributed by Globo in Europe.
War Heroes: U Boat Captain (Globo)
German U Boat Captain. Same figure as above but this is the Globo variation. (Europe)
War Heroes: Australian Bush Fighter (Globo)
Globo version of the Australian Bush Fighter. I never realized this before but he has a white/gray hat vs. the usual green hat on these figures. Interesting!
